WINTER 2020 END OF TERM PERFORMANCE

We thoroughly enjoyed our most recent performance at St Botolph’s church on Saturday 1st February 2020. The evening started with three lovely songs from the wonderful Thomas A Becket Infant school choir. Profits went to our chosen charity Safe in Sussex www.safeinsussex.co.uk and to the St Botolph’s church fund.

SUMMER 2019 END OF TERM PERFORMANCE

Our finale performance at St Botolph’s church in July was a sell-out success. Friends, family and Worthing community gospel fans gathered to help us celebrate another fabulous term singing together.

3 CHOIRS, AN EVENING OF GOSPEL & SOUL

In its third successful year, on 22nd June 2019 at St Paul’s in Worthing, Spring into Soul once again took part in 3 Choirs, an evening of Soul & Gospel with Guest Director Mark De Lisser. The event is organised by Amanda Mitchell who runs Hove choir Bright Soul www.brightsoul.co.uk. Mark, renowned choral director and vocal coach, now famous for his arrangement of the royal wedding song ‘Stand by Me’, brought passion and energy to a celebration of Gospel community choir singing. With 60 choir members from 3 choirs, this is a fabulous annual event enjoyed by choirs and audience.

WINTER CONCERT FEBRUARY 2019

Each term we end on a high with a finale performance for friends, family and supporters. Our most recent was to a full house at St Paul’s on 2nd February 2019. We have the support of a terrific band led by David and for the first time were thrilled to be joined by the very impressive Spring into Soul Children’s Choir. Starting the evening off in style we had the amazing 6 piece local band Chequered Red.

BBC GOSPEL CHOIR OF THE YEAR

Spring into Soul were thrilled to be Finalists in the 2018 BBC Gospel Choir of the Year. Travelling to Nottingham’s Albert Hall to film, Spring into Soul sung their hearts out in front of judges Gareth Malone, Karen Gibson and Shaun Escoffery. Two programmes aired on BBC One 18th & 25th November 2018. We think we did Worthing proud! It was amazing event to be part of.
